DESCRIPTION:The 2025 edition of the Alloys for Additive Manufacturing Sympo
 sium (AAMS) will be held at the Neuchâtel campus of the École Polytechnique
  Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) in Switzerland. Following previous events in c
 ities like Düsseldorf, Zürich, and Paris, this 8th edition will continue to
  explore advancements in materials science for metal additive manufacturing
 .\n\nAAMS 2025 will cover all aspects of materials science for metals and c
 omposite materials with metallic phases. We invite contributions from exper
 imental, theoretical, and computational researchers on topics such as feeds
 tock creation and characterization, degradation mechanisms, in-process allo
 ying, in situ microstructure characterization, and post-processing techniqu
 es. We especially welcome research on optimizing existing alloys for AM and
  designing tailor-made alloys suited for AM processes.
