 oalkyl substances, also known as “forever chemicals”) challenges.\n\nEvolvi
 ng regulations, inconsistent definitions, limited data availability, litiga
 tion risk, toxicity & bioaccumulation, changing consumer expectations and t
 he vast variety of PFAS compounds make this a particularly difficult proble
 m.\n\nIBM has developed AI-driven technology and collaborated with clients 
 in various industries to accelerate the discovery of sustainable materials.
  We are now leveraging and advancing that technology to address PFAS-relate
 d challenges on three fronts:\n\n 	Identification: What PFAS exposure do I 
 have in my products, processes and supply chain? 	Substitution: Are there e
 xisting, suitable “safe” alternatives? 	Discovery: If no substitutes exist,
  how can I develop new replacements?
