Thursday morning (June 01, 2023), the Swiss Plastics Symposium 2023 was still about precision, productivity and digitalization in plastics processing, then after noon the actual ceremony: 140 participants celebrated - in the presence of the esteemed initiator Prof.em. Dr. Wolfgang Kaiser - 30 years of the Plastics Training and Technology Center KATZ. This is how long this Aargau institution has been doing great things in the field of training specialists for the Swiss plastics industry, as numerous other speakers emphasized in addition to Cantonal Councillor Alex Hürzeler. But applied research and development (what a machine park!) also make KATZ a valuable part of the canton's high-tech strategy. The event was rounded off by exciting live injection molding demos and a tabletop exhibition by numerous partners.

The nano.swiss community and also the team of the Hightech Zentrum Aargau AG and the focus on materials and nanotechnologies congratulate and look forward to another 10 years of great cooperation.
